Well it seems like forever since I have posted on my blog and guess what....it has been. ABout 6 weeks to be exact!. Yep missed Christmas and New Years, and the whole silly season.
Life has just been too hectic and a bit crazy around here with school holidays, the silly season and the fact that my husband has been away working for nearly 10 weeks!! yep about ready to pull my hair out! Seriously.

Because of this I have been on a bit of a crafting hiatus....but I think now I am back!!
And back in time for a new challenge over at Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge. Our challenge for you this week is easy....we want you to use SOMETHING NEW!!!

Easy Peasay hey!! Now I have used lots of new things on my card. The first being my new Image LIL GREEK GODS LOLITA APHRODITE WILLOW..... I just love Willow..she has been my favourite right from the start. I have also used some new papers from October Aftrnoon and I have tried to keep it Clean and simple which is also something new for me....lol I usually love all my flowers and bits and pieces.
Anywho without further ado....

Gawd it has been so long since I had picked up my copics I had nearly forgotten how...lol

Wow Christmas is just creeping up very fast this year! i ams o not organised...are you?? Well to hopefully get you a bit more organised, especially with your cards the monthly theme at Bizzy Bec's Store blog is ...you guessed it.. CHRISTMAS!!!

Now I have a wonderful friend Trish who was naughty and got me this super cute exclusive Tilda from MAgnolia. She is exclusive to a shop in Europe. Big MWAHS to Trishy I do love her very much and you are VERY naughty for getting her for me...but I do love her!!!

i have been keeping my christmas cards very plain this year otherwise they cost a fortune to post!! Lesson learnt last year lol!!

I know now dont fall out of your chairs......for those who know me its been quite sometime since I have scrapped...well scarpped anything that I have been partically fond of and willing to share....lol.
But when I got my new Designer Kit from Country Papercraft i just couldnt help myself. i love love love the paper range!!! Its 'Gathering' by Authentique. Now I am so far out of the loop nowadays with anything scrapping that I have honestly never heard of this company before..I know shocker right!! But i just fell in love with the blues/browns/oranges and I am so NOT an orange person.

Anywho i have made two pages...yes thats right TWO with the kit so far and here they are.
First up is my favourite shot of my daughter.

And the second is of my youngest Flyn who is just such a damn dag!!

So there you go i still remember how to scrap...woot woot..who would have known!

Ok so its monday and not friday and I truly dont know where the weeks are going and I'm going a bit stir crazy with hubby away for so long this time...eeek 3 weeks!! Long time no see!!!
So I totally and utterly forgot to post this....ha story of my life lately!!!

Anywho without further dribble this weeks challenge over at Tickled Pink stamps Challenge is...... Handwritten Sentiments!!! I know a tad scary but truly find someone who has beautiful writing and get them to do it for you...no one said it had to be YOUR writing lol.

Wowsers guys this is late and I have no one to blame but myself. these past few days have been crazy crazy around here.
First up woke up thursday morning to find our frog had escaped from his tank. looked everywhere, spent most of the day looking for him. then had my brother who i dont get to see very often come visiting thursday night, and totally forgot to set this up to post.
then today got up looking for the frog again. Mainly because we really missed him and wanted to find him and secondly because I didnt want him dying in the house somewhere...ewww.

So there you go my excuses for forgetting to post the new challenge over at Tickled Pink Stamp Challenges.

This week is a great one yet again, but then they are all pretty spesh!!! We have a fabbo sketch for you and really really want to see you all joining in with us!!

Well I must say i am loving this weeks theme at Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge.
My favourite kind of theme....VINTAGE!!!

Now my creation this week is based on a card I saw on Monique Lokhorst's blog. Monique runs it as a class where she lives in the Netherlands (i think). I have tried to case her idea as I loved it. Now not sure I have done it anywhere near how she has done hers but the style is similar. Thanks Monique for the incredible inspiration.

I also want to aplogise for the terrible colouring of the photos, but had to take the pics late at night as the card was for my SIL's bday and I was running late with it so didnt get a chance to take photos in the daylight...sowwy...but I guess it adds to their vintage feel?? LOL...maybe!

Cant wait to see what you come up with for this fabulous theme!!

Well its that time yet again...yes Time for another Bizzy Bec's Blog Challenge!! Where do these months go?? I swear this year is flying past at record speed.

Well i'm pretty sure this is the first Magnolia-licious Christmas All Year Long Blog Hop that I have joined in with this year...sad I know but my Maggies have unfortunately taken a bit of a back seat of late with all my DT work i have been doing and family time has taken a bit of a premium too.
Anywho with the arrival of my Fall kit and the yummy new Christmas MAggies in my hands I just had to join in this time. I actually think this is the first one back after a summer hiatus anyways.

i have used Ribbon Tilda, snowflake stamp (which is a bit hard to see) and title stamp from the new Sweet Christmas Dreams collection. I have kept my card really simple as I learnt from last year the bulky ones cost a fortune to post!! LOL

A stitch here and there...

Well when I had the day off unexpectedly the other day i actually managed to get some crafting stuff done...yay!! Felt so good.
Here is one of the things I managed to get done...a card for the Saturated Canary Challenge which this time round is asking for stitching. Now my stitching is faux stitching as the sewing machine is in the other room and yada yada yada I couldnt be bothered going to get it lol....but its stitching none the less.

I made this card for my hubby's bday. His bday was actually last week but as he has been away working he wasnt home so he is now :) Gave me a bit more time to get a card made as well because..umm..dont tell him..but i forgot...whoops!!! Not his bday just to make the card!! LOL

I do find it so hard not to prettify a males card...do you??

I have used one of the wonderful new images from CC designs Laugh Lines which are available in Bizzy Bec's shop Here. And the really cool thing is that they currently have 30% off!! Yes a massive 30%...OMG!!! My pearls even though tiny are actually liquid pearls. Only because it was a challenge to myself to use them. never had much luck with them before but think I have now mastered the art...lol

and I have used 2 Magnolia doohickey dies and some cream tasseled ribbon all available from bizzy Bec's wonderful shop.

Ok so blogger isnt playing nice yet again....not sure why I keep staying with them other than the fact that I'm too lazy to change to something else....lol. Yes its me back with another Tickled Pink Stamp Challenge!! It felt so weird not doing a creation for last week but because it was the 'newbies' first time I thought I would let them have their time in the sun..but man o man it sure did feel weird!!
But this week I am back with us..umm....established team...lol (not calling us Oldies I feel Old enough..lol). and we have a fabulous challenge for you this week.

yep those cards where everything is white although you are allowed to colour the image! Yay!!
I love this theme as the creations always look so clean and fresh and timeless. Such an elegance to them.

i have used a WOJ border die, a TH embossing folder, white lace and a MTF flower die.

Pretty simple.

I have had a play with some of Blue butterfly Stamps new images. this is Raven Goth Girl and you can find her in store here. isnt she awesome!! I have made this card to send to my friend in the US for halloween. I really wish we celebrated Halloween a bit more here in Australia. Any excuse to eat candy!! LOL

I have used copics to colour Raven in with and the paper is by BAsic Grey and is from a 6x6 pad.

Dont you hate it when you have those days that no matter what you do and what you touch it all just goes batcrap?? Sorry but no other way of putting it without totally swearing!
Well today is one of those days!!
But i wont bother you with those dramas as I am sure you are here to find out what the new challenge is over at Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge.
Well this week we have a great theme for you all....WINTER!!! Easy peasy Japanesy!!
Now if you want to avert looking at a disaster you might want to turn away now and go and look at the AMAZING work of all my fellow DTers to gain some form of inspiration as I am sure my card will not spark your creativeness.
Its just another one of those things today which has gone either totally wrong or nowhere near how I intended it to be.
I wasnt going to actually share it with you all but I thought I would as I know people like to look at tragedy no matter how bad it is...lol
So here it is......sigh! LOL

I wish you could see how it should have looked but that image is still in my head and not made from paper lol

My other passion...well one of many lol is photography. i am no pro but a long shot but I do like to dabble so this post is going to be quite heavy with some recent photos.
A friend of mine recently had a baby and I asked if i could take some photos of her sweet bubba. Its always something i had wanted to do and never had a really decent camera when mine were this little. Sweet MacKenna is 3 weeks old and he was the most perfect bubba. Slept the whole time and almost let me do anything with him, except he insisted on having his arm out almost all ofthe time...lol

No I'm not doing a re-run of the Gobbledok (lol who is old enough to remember that!!) I am talking chippie chippie Chipboard!!!
Thats the theme this week at Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge. Another great easy one as I am sure we all have some chipboard floating around the place somewhere!! Now in my scrapbooking daze I was never a big fan of it...unfortunately...lol. So I really dont have a great lot of it. i have some nice laser cut wood bits that i have..umm..'collected' lately but thats not really chipboard ..is it??
Anywho I managed to find this small bird I first covered him in paper but he didnt stand out enough, so i flipped him over so you can see the nekkid version in all his brown glory...lol.

i have also used the wonderous new Lil Victorian Christmas Lad Scrooge Damon.....ooo doesnt he really look like he is saying BAH HUMBUG!! I love him!!! Bwahahahahaha!!!!

Yea running late.....

but I have a good excuse!! Turns out this 'flu' i have had for about 4 weeks is actually pneumonia!! Yep no wonder I have been feeling so..well YUK!!! and my cough is no longer just a cough but a weird mating call for elephant seals. Well thats how it sounds...lol.
But now with some double strength antibiotics I feeling a little better...still no where near 100% but maybe running at about 70% now..yay!!
So anyways because of all this I missed last fridays Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge. But i have since created my card using CARDBOARD, which is this weeks theme and have put it up on the post.

man o man this flu is still knocking me for a sixer. Just cant shake it. Hubby is home on his week off and life is so hectic. and OMG its friday again...when did that happen?? Where did the week go?? But I'm still around. I have had this dreaded lurgy which i thought i had beaten , but in truth it was just lulling me into a false sense of security before it pounded me with about round 3 or 4 I think.
To make it worse hubby is away working so i cant even just curl up into a ball and die which is my biggest want at the moment...lol...but alas that is not to be.
So like a true aussie woman i shall endure and soldier on!!!

I have used the uber gorgeous Cherry Lynn Mini Butterfly dies for my small butterflies and a Marianne d die for the large butterfly. Bec has both available for pre-order in her shop.

Ok seriously have lost the plot but thats ok.

Now what a hunt did I have through my house looking for my feathers only to find I only had 1 nice one left and a couple of mangy looking ones...hmm..so purple was the colour of the day!! with a splash of teal which I think look fabbo together! Even if i do say so myself...lol

Wow can you believe its August already?? My o My wont be long and it will be Xmas. The weather this past weeek has definately felt a bit like summer is coming. Its a crazy 29 degrees today and the middle of winter...what the??? I know!!!

Ok so I am having some serious blond moments lately! i swear the more my blond hair turns to grey the more the grey matter is slowly losing it!! Seriously!!!

Well its friday yet again....the first week of the school holidays is done and dusted and I have survived, as has my kids..lol, I still have the flu and still feel pretty cruddy. So not far!!!

Well its time for another Tickled Pink Challenge and the theme this week is so close to my heart....FLOWERS!!! How yummy!!!
Unfortunately I have had a terrible week at work, life, you name it and its all gone pear shaped this week...sigh...so i run out of time.
I had such great glorious plans and then in the end I rushed my card and well...quite frankly...I'm not fond of it...not fond at all...but well I guess you cant LOVE everything you do all the time.
I think one of my main issues is that the colours are off in the photo. the flowers and the pink strip are almost the same colour irl but here they look completely different and ghastly...and dont blend at all.
I will endeavour to take a new photo in the daylight to see if that helps.
Anyways here is my creation.

Anywho..i just know that your creations are gooing to run circles around mine and I cant wait to see them!

OMG I'm sorry I forgot to put up my post for this weeks Stamptacular Sunday Challenge.
It was my middle boys 4th birthday on Sunday and it was one chaotic day! OMG!!! I just totally forgot about everything else and only just realised that I hadnt posted it...whoopsie.

Anyways this week challenge is for stars and stripes. So as long as you are using something that incorporates stars and stripes you are away!! LOL
My creation doesnt have much in the way of stripes..just a little on the bunting, but thats ok its still there!

see this weeks challenge.... is 'TEXTURE'...Some of you might be new to texture or some may think it only means embossed paper etc. But after a little chat with the Pink Challenge Ladies we discovered that there is so much more and they have shown SOOOOO many ways... Basically the way to describe it...... when you run your fingers over it, it feels like "texture"....

And a fabbo prize this week as always..your choice of one rubber or two digi's...wowsers!!!!

Now here is my creation using LOTS of texture!! i have used corrugated card, embossed paper, silk flowers, a feather, some jute ribbon and some ruffled ribbon...phew!!!!

Well they say when things are going to go wrong they will and so far this week I have had my fair share of things that have been going wrong . I had scheduled three posts for this week and they have all disappeared from my blog list. Not just didnt show up but are not there at all. My DT work for Stamptacular that I scheduled Sunday morning didnt show up sunday night. The one for Bizzy Bec's has gone walk abouts and the one for Tickled Pink has just disappeared off the face of the earth. i know I scheduled them as I knew I was going to be crazy busy this week and then blogger goes and eats them...arrgghhhhhh!!!!

I have used Skye as just a 'headshot'. i really love this look as you can see the finer details.

I have gone with a steampunk theme with my card today as these images really give me that steampunk feel.

Skye is part of a new series of Images that will be released as digi image son April 1st.

Phew so much is going on over at Tickled Pink Stamps...lots of previews of the new guys on the block and now a new challenge at Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge.

BEFORE we get to this weeks challenge. Kellie never heard back from the girl chosen to be our guest for May and so if you would like to be our guest for the month of May and get 4 digital images to work with and join in with a bunch of fun loving, crafty pink challenge ladies then all you have to do is when you add your name to the linky add GDT beside it... So for example Kellie GDT.... That is all. The lucky girl will be announced in the winner and top 5 post.

Now onto this weeks challenge....and our theme is...

Now i have chosen to use one of the new lads on my card this week.
This is Lil LAd Stefan.....

Now this is version two of my card. Version one got a little help by my budding Artiste Mr F (aka my 2 year old)

Now he didnt think I had distressed it all enough so decided to add some squares of brown pinecone versa cube ink everywhere...so sweet but not really the lok I was going for...lol

So I had to pull bit soff and add another die-cut (which I'm not happy with but ...what to do??

Add another 'dream' tag on top of the inked one and a couple of small flowers and most of Mr F's artwork is covered......just dont look at Stefan's hand...lol

Ok a bit of a corny title but hey its the best i could come up with at this point in time...lol.
Have had a week full of two and three year olds driving me nuts and now a puppy to add to the mix...I know CRAZY right...lol.

For my inspiration this week i have chosen to make a tag card. these have been doing the rounds a bit of late and thought I would try my hand.

This was my first at colouring a fox as well. So dont laugh if I havent got the colouring quite right.

I based him on Basil Brush from my childhood!!

I think he is quite suave and a wee bit sophisticated. Well in my eyes anyways lol.

Now I have gone a little different this week with my creation.....you might be asking..where's the stamping??? Well if you actually look at the frame I have painted it with thick white gesso then stamped into the paint creating a kind of relief pattern. Cool hey!!!

Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge #7

Yes I know I'm running late and i sincerely apologise. Life has been nothing short of not even close to being controlled KAOS!!!! My mum got put in hospital and wow life just collapsed. You see I work full time, have three kids, 2 of them under 4 years old and my mum is my baby sitter...eek!!!! So I'm sure any mother out there can just imagine the shambles my life has been the past 3 days!!! I normally get up in the mornings, get myself ready for work as I start at 7.30am, then wake kids up and throw them in the car and drop off at Grandma's, who then gets them dressed , breakfast etc..and K catches the school bus from there...sheesh easy peasy right...well now I have to get them all up early get them dressed and fed all before 7.10am at the latest...eeek!!!!
So anywho I just completely forgot to post this last night..well to tell you the truth I had completely forgotten what day it is not even thinking about stuff i have to do on certain days...arrgghhh!!!

ok ok enough of my dramas...lol On with the challenge!
Now this week we have come up with something a little different...we want you to use FABRIC on your creation!!!..how cool is that?? you can use it how ever you like, make some flowers, especially those cool rolled ones that seem to be the rag atm..or come up with something else. Now I found this scrap of material in my stash from when i used to do quilting..I thought OMGoodness thats bright...I LOVE it!! Had to use it..so i just sewed a patch onto my card as if it was designer paper...simple!!

i hope you like my colourful card. i havent done bright colours in a while and it FELT GOOD!!!

Ok enough rambling......I cant wait to see what you come up with!!
