Cherrie and a sketch

Well i got my first Cherrie today...stamp that is and decided that i had better use her for the sketch over at Tickled Pink challenges before I run out of time again.  Now I have to say this card took me all day!!!  Now that never happens.  i normally churn them out pretty quickly once I get an idea in my head..but lets just say I havent had the best of days...all day...and things didnt improve...all day..LOL.  o well tomorrow is another day!
Anywho here is my take on the sketch using cherrie with rose.

now I have made it into an easel card but the bottom bit is a bit plain.  i might add some flowers me thinks.

now I have no idea what is up with that flower as it matches perfectly in real life but when i take photos of it it changes to a hideous light blue instead of a really nice teal.  hmmm....see its the day I'm sure of it.

Time for bed me thinks!!!

Now for something completely different...

O wow the Mr Mojo Muse has been paying me a visit big time...and I"M LOVING IT!!!!!.

Now when I started this card yesterday...to be honest i had just got home from work and I had been thinking all day, while working, (i know multi-tasking at its best...lol), about how I could use these gorgeous MD corners on my card for the new Tickled Pink challenge.  I just had to see if it would work, so die-cutting and glueing like crazy i worked it out....gave the sewing machine a whirl...stuck it all together...was quite chuffed with myself..then it dawned on me....well actually more like slapped me over the head....I hadnt actually coloured in my poor Willow before sticking it all together.  So I thought...hmmm..do i now try and colour her in???  Then my sweet daughter came in and said..wow that looks great like that Mum!!  So un-coloured she has stayed.  I must admit I quite like it too now...just inked up the paper so it wasnt quite so starkingly in your face white.  Wish I had grunged the flower too..hmm..still might.

Anyways enough rambling...here is my Tickled Pink entry for this week.  i hope you like my something different!!   LOL.  And look I'm not scrambling like a mad woman to get it loaded in time this week...lol

Sweet Love - Key to my heart

I just love this one and I think she is pretty versatile too as she looks amazing sitting on her key, but you could also cut her out so she was on her own...or if you are clever with your digi stamps you can erase the key.

Celebration Calendar Tilda

Can you believe I have had this sweetie for over a week now, actually very nearly two weeks..o my!!! and havent had the chance to ink her up...How sad is that.  January is supposed to be my slow month at work but damn someone forgot to tell the tourists this year..sheesh!!

Anyways i managed to find sometime last night amongst my insomnia to give this sweetie some ink and be a bit creative.

Its Sunday again....

OMG my head is still so in holiday mode that i almost forgot it was sunday again.  Too many public holidays and days off and kids not at school...enough to drive a person to having delusions.....hmmm.
Anyways..it is Sunday...isnt it??  Just had to check with the faithful computer clock...lol.  it never lies so i know it is sunday...yay!!!
that means its time for another challenge at STamptacular Sunday Challenge!!!  This week we have a fabulous sketch for you to follow.....we all love sketches dont we!!!  especially when are brains are a little hung over from all that christmas and New Years cheer!!  LOL

Ok here is my take on the sketch.  i have used a stamp from MFT and some wonderful die-namics border dies.  these are fabulous I have to say!!

Now my card is a little on the colourful side this week but its for a very special princess in my life whose favourite colours are pink and purple...so how could I not oblige!!
