Seeing Stars and stripes....

OMG I'm sorry I forgot to put up my post for this weeks Stamptacular Sunday Challenge.
It was my middle boys 4th birthday on Sunday and it was one chaotic day! OMG!!! I just totally forgot about everything else and only just realised that I hadnt posted it...whoopsie.

Anyways this week challenge is for stars and stripes. So as long as you are using something that incorporates stars and stripes you are away!! LOL
My creation doesnt have much in the way of stripes..just a little on the bunting, but thats ok its still there!

Getting a head start on the christmas cards this year...lol

With a splash of ribbon and lace please..

How do you take your tea???   Well it seems Mad Hatter Damon takes his with a dash of ribbon and lace and thats a good thing as its the theme for this weeks challenge at Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge...lol

Yes we want to see ribbon and lace on your creation if you hadnt guessed.  i have used some gorgeous silk binding as my ribbon and some lovely lace from Prima that I have had hidden in the drawer for quite some time and quite frankly..lol...had forgotten about!

So here is Damon in all his handsome glory....

Under a summer Sun

Well not exactly...lol..its cold, wet and dreary down under but I guess in the northern parts of the world you are in the summer sun.  And because of that our theme this week at Stamptacular Sunday is just that Fun in the Sun!! What do you associate with summer, sun and fun? Let your creative skills roam! Oh…and don’t forget to stamp! After all, we don’t call this STAMPtacular for nothing!

Introducing Camellia

I have one of the uber gorgeous new Blue Butterfly Stamps Butterfly Sweethearts for you today. This is Camellia. i just love these new images dont you. So feminine and girly!! Just beautiful.

The paper I have used is from the Crate paper Portrait Collection 6x6 pad available in Bizzy Bec's store.

I have also used one of the super amazing cherry Lynn doiley dies behind Camellia.

Love these to bits and they cut out like a dream!!

Its friday yet again...

Boy this year is just flying past at warp speed me thinks...where do the weeks go??  Seriously???  How can it be friday yet again??  Has it seriously been a week already??  O well...as it is friday that means its time for another wonderful challenge from Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge!   Yay!!!  this time we have a fantastic sketch for you to follow.

i love sketches..do you??  They always give me a great base to start from and when I'm stuck for ideas a sketch is one of the first places I go to find some mojo.

For my Dad.....

Ok so its not technically Sunday today but seeing as its a public holiday here and I have been thinking its sunday all dang day does that count???  LOL
As because its pseudo sunday (lol)  Its time for another Stamptacular Sunday Challenge and this week its a challenge to make something for either a Dad or a Grad in your life.
Well seeing as Graduations are not so big around here...dont really know anybody even close to graduating anything..I made a card for my Dad.
Now my Dad has been now to have a sherbert or 3...lol  So I thought this image from Blue Butterfly Stamps is just perfect!

Ok so that might sound a little..umm kinky perhaps...lol but seriously its all about Tickled Pink Stamps new challenge...I swear!!!
see this weeks challenge.... is 'TEXTURE'...Some of you might be new to texture or some may think it only means embossed paper etc. But after a little chat with the Pink Challenge Ladies we discovered that there is so much more and they have shown SOOOOO many ways... Basically the way to describe it...... when you run your fingers over it, it feels like "texture"....

And a fabbo prize this week as always..your choice of one rubber or two digi's...wowsers!!!!

Now here is my creation using LOTS of texture!!  i have used corrugated card, embossed paper, silk flowers, a feather, some jute ribbon and some ruffled ribbon...phew!!!!
And the gorgeous new image Lil Match Christina!!!  Man i love this new image!!  gonna be a fav i can see already!
