Ok here is My bubba....

Ok I know there is quite a few of you out there who are just dying to see pics of my bubba......so here it is in all its glory.......We know what IT is and if you are very clever you might be able to tell as well. *Hint* look at the one which is the foot photo!!! LOL........

I have to say this was the most awesome experience of my life. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who is having a baby who even thinking about it!......What an experience!!

April Happenings.....

O My where to start?? I have to try and start blogging more regularly but i just never seem to find the time....and I guess the time factor thingy isnt going to get any better over the coming months is it??

Ok well April started off fairly routinely....then came easter. On Good Friday we had Kloe up at our local hospital all afternoon. She fell off her scooter the night before but never really complained about any injury until the next day. She was saying her shoulder hurt so we took her up to get it sussed out because it didnt feel quite 'right' and it sounded disgusting. this real crunching clicking sound...YUK! Well it turns out that she had a fractured shoulder blade. She had cracked the bit they call the 'neck' of the scapula up near her neck. So she had to have it in a sling. Luckily she wasnt in much pain with it!.

Easter Saturday Scott and I went to see THE RED HOT CHILLI PEPPERS in adelaide! they were awesome!! Anthony is just so gorgeous!!!

Easter Sunday we went to Bundaleer Forest Easter Egg hunt. Yep she hunted for eggs broken wing and all!!!

The rest of Easter was uneventful, thank god!

My brother and SIL came back from their honeymoon and went and got their 3D scans done in Adelaide, so I got to see some photos of my future neice or nephew. Nope they didnt want to find out what it is!! Spoil spoilts!!!

Kloe is now on school holidays. Scott took the first week off as well and they have done lots and lots of fishing!!! Kloe caught the biggest whiting one night and was SO proud of her self!!

The photo is pretty average but it is from Scotts phone!! And thats about it for April so far.......

Wedding daze...........

Just wanted to share some photos from our weekend. Kloe and i were both in my brothers wedding. Kloe made a beautiful flowergirl......and i was in there too.....lol.

Well here it is...my first LO of our upcoming miracle.

The title refers to the amount of treatment (eleven) over a period of months (eighteen) that we suffered through reproductive intervention to acheive our pregnancy.

The journalling reads as follows:

It was on the 10th of November 2006 when we got that phone call from Repromed in Adelaide. “Leonie, I have your blood test results”. Ok hit me with it, we failed again didn’t we. Another month down the drain and only one more month to go until it’s all over. But no, that’s not what she said. She said the most magical words in the world. The words we had been waiting to hear for the past eighteen months.
You’re Pregnant!
I couldn’t believe it! I ran in to tell Scott who was getting ready to go into hospital and have his tonsils out. I don’t think he quite believed me. For the next couple of weeks we were walking around on eggshells. Didn’t want to tell anybody but was bursting to all at the same time. But we had been through too much over the past year or so to be hurt again so our lips were kept well and truly fused shut!
On the 3rd of December 2006 we had our last visit with repromed. Sitting in that waiting room, waiting to get called in to see our last scan was agonising. It was almost like being a prisoner on death row waiting for that final walk down the corridor to certain doom. So much was going through my head. What if they had made a mistake and there was nothing there. What if it was just a blighted ovum and my body playing heartless tricks on us? What if it had just never developed into anything and was just a useless ball of cells.
Our doctor came and with it the moment of truth. My last transvaginal scan. Something I wouldn’t be sorry to not have again! And there on the screen in hazy black and white, you appeared. Our little miracle! Your heart was beating so fast and we could see tiny stumps that would develop into your arms and legs. Such an incredibly heart-wrenching and emotional time, and so beautiful to boot! We were told that there was another egg sac in with you but that it was empty. We didn’t mind. You were there and you were healthy and real and I just wanted to hold you in my arms right there and then…..but now the waiting begins.

Some Scrapping......

I still dont have much to say.....boring life I lead i tell you!!! Its been terribly hot and horrible and I hibernate when its like that.....so not much happens.

Our house reno's are coming along nicely (thank god!) and have actually turned out way better than I had hoped. Now the trick is to get him to finish what he has started...lol.

Ok well i thought i had better share a photo of the peanut with you all, or you will think i'm ignoring it! The scan was ok but we didnt get ultra goo pictures as the head was right down in my pelvic bone and the lady doing the scan was killing me pushing trying to get good pictures of the head. This is aboutthe best we got. Cute profile so better than nothing!!

Totally looking forward to my 3D ones now!!! I wish they werent so far away!! Can i last another 7 1/2 weeks without seeing its cute face?? Gonna have to I guess!!! BOO HOO!! :(

Ok so far February has been pretty well no descript. Hot and boring!!! i had my morphology scan....found out what the peanut is. NA na I know and you dont!!! (imagine me sticking out my toungue at you all!!). we are in the middle of totally re-arranging our house, and so home life is general chaos!!

But a good thing has come of it all!! i have a perfect wall at the moment to take photos against!! Woohoo!! How excited am I????

Ok February so far.......

Kloe went bck to school full of enthusiasm and energy! She is so looking forward to being in year two this year. She was extremely 'over the moon' when she found out who her teacher was on book day. She got exactly who she wanted and most of her friends are in her class. What more could a girl aske for?! So far i love her teacher. She is a bit older than the norm, which is great (nothing against young teachers but sometimes....well i;m sure you all know what i mean!!), and you can just tell that she is notgoing to take any lip from a snotty nosed 7 year old!! Yea for that!!! We have already had readers and words and tests home which is just amazing after last year where we got virtually nothing!!! seeing her tests is a big thrill for me! we never got anything like that sent home last year and just never knew whether she wa sreally doing any good or not...iykwim??

But on a sad note on February 2nd kloes beloved minature rabbit Max died after being bitten by a european wasp. We were all very sad at her passing. We have had her for 4 years and she was a part ofour family! Kloe used to wrap her in her dolls blankets and push her around in her dolls pram. Kloe took it extremely hard as it was her first real pet of hers that ha sdied. We have other rabbits and chooks die all the time but Max was her rabbit and it made such a great difference. But i feel it was a great lesson learned. i do think kids need to know about life and death and not be as shelteredas we were growing up when our dogs 'ran way' and all that guff. We try to be as honest as we can with her....but still she took it very hard, my poor fred bear!!

Maxwill be greatly missed.

And before I chuff off and go and pick the squirt up from school, i just want to say thanks to Kate Mason who left a comment on my last entry. Thanks for coming by and reading all my junk and I really truly hope you didnt take offence to the way i worded my entry about your class. I didnt mean 'different' in a bad way. i loved your class just as much as the others. So please forgive me if I offended thee. i didnt mean it!!

Has it really.......

Been that long since I blogged??? o my where did january go?? is it just me or is the world spinning faster or something??

ok well I think we need a january update before we go any further. Ok January consisted of...lets see.....work, stinking hots days, being stuck inside with the a/c flat strapped, work, and umm...that about it!! Seriously!! i hibernate when its so hot and that was about my life for january. We had so many days above 35 degrees it wasnt funny!! I hate the heat and just lounged around inside and did nothing!! Kloe did practically the same, was too hot to go anywhere and do anything. totally horid month!!!

My one hi-light was getting to go to Creative Edge in Adeliade. i had such a ball!! i so wish I had been able to go for the whole weekend but the finances throughout January and never brilliant so the old budget just wouldnt stretch to it! I did have one awesom time though!! i really needed it, to get out of he house, out of Town and scrappig for a whole day! My idea of heaven!!

Have itold you Icant scrap when its hot as my scrap room isnt air conditioned?? Well its not and its always about 10 degrees hotter in there than outside!! I kid you not!! So this was really my first lot of real scrapping for the whole year!!

Ok enough rabbiting on...I had better show you what I did!

With the faboulous gorgeous Steph, and I got to sit next to Marilyn for this class as well!! How lucky was I?

I just loved this one!! Was a bit miffed that you can see the KI gloo through the transparency but well you know it happens!!

next class was with Kate mason. i had never done a class with her before and lets just say it was different. Something i'm totally not used to! Got to sit next to Marilyn again though!! And a girl who for the life of me I cant remember her name, but she always goes to Steph's classes at the station! We had a ball laughing and being the noisy ones in the class!!! So heres the end result!

Well after lunch i did a clas with Zina Wright. Wow!! She is one gorgeous lady!! i loved her class alot!! We did a quote book and I just LOVE it. Did i mention I love it??? Only I havent taken any photos of it, but promise I will and i will upload them.....I promise.!!

Ok well thats about it for january. Will now try to catch up to february!!

My exciting news.....

You all have absolutely no idea how hard it has been to not scream my news from the top of my lungs. i have been bursting at the seams with my special secret since the 10th of November!!! i have absoutely no idea how I havent done some magor damage to myself by keeping this secret in......but now the time has come to share my secret with the world!

I'M PREGNANT!!!!!

After doing 11 lots of reproductive treatment over a period of 18 months we got that fabulous phone call only about an hour before scott had to go in to have his tonsil operation. talk about timing!!! So baby has already been to two rock concerts U2 and robbie Williams, had its first Xmas (no alcohol though...i'm a good mummy!!) and its first New year.

Here are a couple of scan photos.

this one is from the 8 week scan we had at repromed in adelaide. it showed two egg sacs but only one with a developed baby in it. Our first look at our little peanut!!!

These two are from our twelve week nuchel fold test scan (for downs syndrome) they are amazingly clear. i was so happy. the top one kloe was allowed to come in and she saw it sucking its thumb. You can kind of make it out in the picture. it was just so amazing!!! And needless to say Kloe was wrapt!!!

We have just found a place in adelaide that does the 4D scans so I told scott thats what i want for my mothers day present!! i want the scans done!! He reluctantly agreed!! (although secretly i think he wants them done too!!)

Ok so thats my news!!!

O bugger thought i had better share Kloes xmas photo with you all before its next Xmas!!!





We managed to get a girly day in adelaide before Xmas. Scott was fishing in elliston with mr. Mack, Kloe had finished school for the year so we snaggled a day and went girly shopping!! We had a ball, spent a wee fortune, and managed to convince her to sit on the big fat guy in red for a snapshot. She did it, reluctantly, but she did it!!!


I cant believe that she stil hates him. Shes 7 for gawds sake!!!

Dont you just love her body language!!! As soon as the picture was tken she was off his lap in a flash and stood about 3 feet from him and had a chat with him. Even when he gave her a bear on a lanyard for visiting him she wouldnt go any closer!! Just leaned over for him to put it around her neck!!

Ok think i have caught up on december!!

Other than to say I hope you all had a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and may you NEW YEAR be filed with love, joy and happiness and that all your dreams come true!!!

robbie williams..better late than never!!

Ok I know I promised to get back on here.....well i'm back albeit nearly a month later...whoops, where did december go in anycase???

Now Robbie Williams...where do I start??? He was absolutely awesome!!! Would have to say it was the best concert EVER!!! His energy was non-stop from go to whoa!! He loved playing with the crowd, he loved showing off his chest (thank you god!!), and his singing just couldnt be faltered. have I ever mentioned how much I just love him??? Such a hunk of a man!! And my height to boot!! What more could a woman want?

Here are some photos. Most of my photos didnt turn out really great which kind of peed me off. Not sure what the problem was.....he always seemed out of focus but everything else was fine. Strange! Also probably didnt help that I'm a totally short ass and had to hold camera above my head to be able to get some shots...he he he. but then the ever so fabulous Julie sent me some great one sfrom the brisbane concert.

still not much to say.....

its been nearly a month and i still dont have a great deal to say.....sad isnt it!

Well what has happened in the past month???

Scott had his tonsils out, he recovered well, surprise surprise!!

We went to see U2 which was amazing!!! Was just a huge pity about where our seats were but hey !, the tickets were free, so no use in complaining!! we were on the 3rd teir of setting i the members stand. The echoing from the stand was shocking! you would have the music come past you and then bounce back off the roof of the stands!! Terrible, you couldnt understand a word that Bono was saying.... :(. I was also sad because i never took my camera. It said no cameras on the ticket so i didnt risk taking mine. Nearly every second person had a camera!!! They didnt even check you when you went through the gates!! i was SO peeved!! O well...we were so far away and on such a weird angle the photos wouldnt have been much stick in any case!.

Got to see scan photos of my future neice or nephew! That was pretty cool.

I did this for them. The photo looks a bit dark in the scan of the page but IRL is much easier to see!

Not much else to report...o yea we had baby bunnies born. We had 7 born but have only 2 left. the heat here has been terrible. We had temps up past 40 degrees and it was only November!!!

Anyway here are a couple of pics of the babies.

Kloe has named them Diddy and Diddilina! For those who dont know they are Japanese cartoon characters, a bit like Hello Kitty, but are male and female mice! kids!!! We are not keeping them though so I dont know why she named them!!

Off to adelaide tomorrow for a doctors visit at repromed, then on tuesday ROBBIE WILLIAMS!!!! i so cant wait!!! So a very busy week. I am going to be so tired come wednesday!!! but hey Robie is SO worth it!! And thank god we have way better tickets!! we have oval A tickets which is basiclly the Mosh Pit!!! I want to get some great photos!!! Is going to be hard to stand all that time but will be so worth it!!! And hopefully we wont get that horrible echo like we did with U2.
