i'm distressing...

one of my newest Maggie's that is...lol.

To cut a long story short we shifted just over 12 months ago and a lot of my scrapbooking supplies have remained unpacked to this day. Bit sad really to admit i have that much its still packed and I dont miss it...lol. Well anywho....I went looking for something (cant remember what now..lol) and came across my T!m distress ink pads and a few refills. Well how excited do you think I was...its a wonder you didnt hear me squeal from the four corners of the globe.

I rushed inside and dug out my SU water pen (which I have never used before!! even though I have had it for about 12 months lol) and set to work colouring in one of my new Maggies that i received yesterday from Diana at Magnolia-liscious. Now i think they have all sold out but she has them on pre-order. If you are thinking of getting some her store is awesome go take a gander!! Lots of ones I had never seen before and the service is great too. they were posted last friday in the US and I received them yesterday so 7 days woot woot!! Colour me impressed!

Anywho im digressing again. i tend to do that wander off in my own little world.

So why am i posting on here about finding T!m inks..well cause i wanted to show you my Maggie I coloured! Seeing as it was my first ever go and I have all of about 8 colours I was pretty impressed with myself!! Hmm...might be another avenue I might have to explore some more.

Hard Hat critcism is wanted from anyone who colours with distress inks. i really need to learn some more. I know the hair is total rubbish but I didnt search through to the bottom of the box to find the yellow until after i had tried the tea and walnut ones lol....thinking an afternoon on youtube might be a goer..lol

Here she is Curtseying Tilda.

Leonie I don't find anything wrong with her either. You've colored her very well. Her hair looks just fine. I would say -just tone it all down a smidge! Just go back with plain water and a paper towel to dab up the colol a bit. But not much. Maybe add a few dark browns for the deepest shadows. But really your coloring looks fabulous! Hope I didn't say too much and make you feel down - not my intention!
