Another easel

Yep another easel card from me. i know I just love them. So easy to make and just look so great when done. A real gift to give to someone. This was supposed to be for two challenges but i missed the one at MDUC because I didnt realise the week was over..lol. Seriously where did this week go??

So i'm putting it in at Everybody-art -Challenge who were also calling for easel cards. Mind you I've probably missed that deadline too...lol

So without further ado because those precious few seconds might count lol here is my card!

I love making these things butthey are not easy to take a photo of!!!
this one is for a fare the well card for a dear friend who I have worked with for the past 13 years.

I have used Silent night Tilda ( i think thats her name, I cant find her in store but email Diana and she will help you I'm sure!)). the papers care 7 gypsies (green) and Collage Press Joyride collection (red and words). And lots and lots of gold kindy glitz!!!! think I may have over done the glitter bit lol...but hey its a Christmas card am i right?? Cant have too much 'bling' on a christmas card!!

Challenge at Stamptacular Sunday

The challenge this week at Stamptacular sunday is to create a card with circles on it.

I've had this card half finished for awhile and this challenge was the perfect boost for me to get it finished.

The PP is from Crate papers Kaitlin range and the punch is a MArtha stewart one.

the pearls are Kaiser and the flowers are old Prima ones.

The Stamp is a HAnglar and stanglar one and I coloured her with pencils and OMS.

My Happy Tilda

Ok this card is not finished but just wanted to share with you all my first paper pieced Tilda and get any advice you would like to share with me.

Its also my first colouring of the skin with copics I've been happy with and willing to share. LOL

I'm pretty happy with it but know its not perfect by any shake of the stick.

So any CC would be greatly appreciated!!!

The gorgeous paper is the new release from KAsier craft called Devonshire..isnt it just beautiful.
The corner stamp is also from the same range.

Kloes entry for MDUC

Kloe has yet again made a card for the new challenge over at MDUC. She will want her own blog soon to showcase them...lol.



The theme is buttons, flowers and bows.

All I helped her to do was show her where she should put highlights on her people and i printed off the saying for her which is a digital stamp from Kaisercraft.



I think she did another good job considering she is only 10...but then I am her mum and might be a tad biased lol.

New week at MDUC and one for Simon says too

Ok this week I've managed to combine three challenges....woot woot I'm getting braver and entering into others...lol. i know what a step hey...lol.

My entry into this weeks pink and grey theme over at MDUC

i replaced her drawn Rose with a paper rose. i saw someone else do these but cant remember where so if this was your idea thanks!!

Papers are Heidi Swapp, as is the heart. i used spellbinders label 4 and the flowers came from Bizzy Becs. the Butterfly punch is my new MS one...gawd I love it! It has got kindy glitz on its wings.

Kloes entry to MDUC

Yesterday my daughter Kloe was bored bored bored....typical 10 year old...lol. Well I told her why not make a card...so she did!! She decided that she was going to put an entry in for the new challenge over at MDUC which is to create a card using pink and grey...o and also a maggie stamp of course! LOL.

So here is her entry! She was totally in awe of Kellies card which she used as her inspiration. She would love it if you could leave her some love!

New Challenge at MDUC

Magnolia down under has a new challenge!. its a sketch but it has to be girlie and use the colour Orange. o my..I so dont do Orange overly well. not my fav colour at all!!

Eeekk..brings back horrid memories of my mums 70's orange and brown kitchen...eeek!! i hope I dont have nightmares tonight!!



Anywho I managed to overcome my fear of that said colour and complete the challenge set.

Everybody-Art-Challenge

The challenge over at Everybody art challenge this week is for blue/brown/white. I love this combo and just had to give it a go.

Here is my card....its another easel card which I just love making atm...lol...o and a Magnolia stamp which i adore!!

The sentiment on the bottom section is a free digital stamp that I got from somewhere but i forget now where. i need to write these things down for future reference!! The paper is from Kaiser and I have used Faber Castell pencils and OMS to colour with.

Pretty In Pink

Ok ok I'm running way late with this one...but I think with us being in front of the US time wise I'm going to make it..by the skin of my teeth!!

Magnolialiscious DT did a Pretty in Pink blog hop awhile back and challenged us to create a card in Pinks. Easy peasy you say and ask why I am running late...welll....you see I did a card all nice and pink and pretty..then realised I hadnt used a MAgnolia image on it.....WHAT!! you say..I know...but you see I was so excited to receive my H&S stamps that I coloured in one of those and stuck it on there...so thats why Im running late...lol. Well my excuse in any case...LOL

Anywho...here is my Pretty in Pink card. i hope you like. Its actually 'So Spooky' Tilda without her broom. Love her like this! Sans broom!

And I might as well put the H&S one on here as well as its still all in the pinks!

Thank You Challenge

The Challenge over at Just Magnolia this week is for Thank You cards. I did this one up last night. i really quite like it. i have used the So Spooky Tilda but have cut off her broom. I actually really like her without it. She looks a bit coy and shy now.

I actually saw this done on someones blog somewhere, so if it was you...I thank you for the idea!! Loved it!! Great thinking 99.....

Valentines Challenge

How perfect that the challenge this fortnight over at Magnolia Down Under is for a VAlentines. I just made two for a swap I'm in on my Puzzle art group! And guess whose I used to adorn my Cards with...yep the sweet Tilda!!

So here is my entry in to the challenge. Not with one card but two!

I didnt put a sentiment on this one just in case the recipient wanted to use it for another purpose.


and this one just had a general sentiment on it...."Just for You" which again can be used for any purpose really.

EAsel Card

O i have been seeing these little easel cards near on everywhere i look lately. And I'm lovingthem. So i thought..well i had better put my A into G and have a go. here is my effort. Again with the yummy Magnolia stamps. im so loving Miss Tilda!

I think I could have made it 'sit' up a bit more iykwim...but I'm still happy for my first attempt!

And here are some other cards I made with CPC's December kit. Again with Miss Tilda featuring!!! I can see a severe addiction happening! LOL

Stamp with Fun Challenge

Im really enjoying making little things like the cards rather than doing a full LO at the moment.

Been trolling some blog challenge sites and came across this one at stamp with Fun. their challenge was to make a little present. here is the little box i made for my daughters teacher and filled with chocolates

The photos arent real good as i took them at night as I knew we would be in a rush in the morning to getto school and I would forget to take the photos.

New MDU Challenge

theres a new challenge over at Magnolia Down Under and I actually have time to do this one.

Wonders will never cease. The theme is Bedazzled...bling it up!!

I had to use all my new yummy Magnolia Xmas stamps that I got from Kellies shop.

Here is my effort!

I have tried to make one of those 3D window type cards. Im pretty happy with my effort!

Not sure if the photo shows up all the glittery bits. i have put Kindyglitz(lots of...lol) on all the presents and gold kindyglitz on the tree as baubles.

Ok off to try and control the chaos that is my life...AKA a moody 10 year old and 2 crazy boys under 3....argghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Magnolia....yum

I have loved and admired the gorgeous Magnolia stamps for quite sometime. but never been actually lucky enough to own any. Well.....I'm now the proud owner of quite a few...slowly building up my collection. So now I thought..well you have some...you had better start using them. Hence me making a few cards lately!

I'm not really a card maker, and I actually get nervous making a card. no idea why i just do. Anywho.....I've been scouring a few blogs to get some ideas and came across Kellie Winnell's blog. She also has a Magnolia challenge blog...this week the challenge is a sketch so I thought..why not give it a shot. Now its only very plain, which is so not like me at all, but its done, even if it does follow the sketch really closely..lol. Again so not like me!

So here is my effort for the sketch at MAgnolia Down Under Challenges.

I so want to whack some flowers on it but seeing as I'm actually going to be mailing it to someone through the post i decided not to.

What I've been up to...

Not much...lol.

Kids and work take up so much of my time I hardly know if I'm Arthur or Martha most days.

I havent even been scrapping much. i know shck horror. Its been a big shock to me as well.

But scarily I'm not missing it. Maybe I needed a break from it.

hopefully it wont be too long a break Ive got so much stuff here to use..lol.

I have done some things just not much. Even been making a few cards which again is scary. i dont normally make cards but i am loving doing them.

A change is as good as a holiday dont they say?

Now the third installment in my family.

Flyn.....lets just say he has his own personality...he is a bit of a princess at times...and already at nearly 18 mths I can tell he is going to be my nightmare child.

he is into EVERYTHING....and I do mean EVERYTHING.
He wont take No for an answer and just keeps doing whatever he is doing.

But he is just so darn cute!! And he knows it.. O my!

Ok next Child update.

Jack is now nearly 27 months. OMG where has that time gone?? No idea I tell you!.
he is such a character, cheeky and so sweet.
And a live wire...OMG he never stops from sun up to sun down.

maybe Blogger was in such a shock that i had actually posted anything it couldnt cope?? LOL

It was pretty photo heavy so maybe I overloaded it.

Basically yesterdays post was just about how crappy this year has been for me and my family but we are trying to keep our heads above water and soldier on.
Not going to retype the whole darn thing cause frankly I'm over it!

i suffer badly from slack bloggers disease! LOL

Well not much is happening around here, justthe same ol, same ol...you know the drill!

Ok looking at the last post...bad girls...what a hoot that was!!
i did get kicked off as predicted but i kept doing the other classes in any case. i had a blast! Boy O boy there is some AMAZING talent out there!!!

i was so thrilled to get as far as I did. What an ego boost im telling you!!

Now for another ego boost! Guess who is on Zarah's blog this week?? go on guess!!! ME!!!!!!
